Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced,
grounded, and highly capable House Manager / Cook to support two
busy entrepreneurs in their primary residence in Jackson Hole. This
is a full-time, salaried role ideal for someone who thrives in a
well-run home, enjoys creating order and calm, and takes pride in
managing household operations with care, discretion, and
initiative. This is an informal but high-standards household .
Cleanliness, organization, and anticipation of needs are essential,
as is a relaxed, steady presence. The ideal candidate is confident,
proactive, and comfortable working independently while
collaborating with a small household team. Off-site housing is
provided, just minutes from the main residence. Role Overview This
position is best suited for a professional who brings strong house
management skills with a light cooking component. Approximately 80%
of the role focuses on household management and operations, with
20% dedicated to simple, health-forward cooking during the
workweek. You will serve as the day-to-day steward of the
home—ensuring it runs smoothly, stays impeccably organized, and
supports the principals’ lifestyle with minimal friction. Key
Responsibilities Household Management & Operations Oversee daily
household operations to ensure the home is consistently organized,
well-maintained, and guest-ready Collaborate with and support the
full-time housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness and
order Manage household vendors and service providers (e.g.,
maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, appliance service) Oversee
household inventory systems, ensuring essential items are stocked
and organized Handle errands, mail coordination, package
management, and local logistics Assist with light home maintenance
needs and seasonal readiness Manage vehicle care logistics,
including scheduling maintenance and detailing Coordinate pet care
needs for a large, friendly dog, including appointments and
boarding logistics Provide clear, proactive communication and daily
updates to ensure alignment Cooking & Kitchen Management Prepare
simple, nutritious meals during the workweek (breakfast prep, lunch
when principals are home, and dinner) Follow specific dietary
preferences and restrictions (gluten-free, no seed oils, no fish,
etc.) Manage grocery shopping and sourcing, with an emphasis on
fresh, high-quality ingredients Maintain an organized, clean, and
efficient kitchen environment Support occasional casual
entertaining or guest visits Administrative & Personal Support
Assist with light personal and household administrative tasks such
as scheduling, travel research, bill pay, and online ordering
Support occasional travel needs on a case-by-case basis Schedule
Full-time, salaried position Approximately 40 hours per week,
generally Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (or 9am–6pm) Flexibility
appreciated for occasional travel or special circumstances Ideal
Candidate Profile 5 years of experience in private household
service, house management, or a similar role Highly organized with
strong prioritization and problem-solving skills Calm, grounded,
and proactive—able to anticipate needs without constant direction
Comfortable working in an informal home with very high standards
Strong communicator who provides clear updates and flags issues
early Hands-on when needed, but able to think and operate at a
management level Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy
Background in wellness-oriented or health-conscious cooking is a
plus German language skills are a bonus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits $175,000 annual salary, paid bi-monthly
Discretionary annual bonus (up to 10%) Premium health insurance
(100% covered for employee, 50% for dependents) Off-site housing
provided: private 3-bedroom / 2-bath residence with utilities and
yard maintenance included Paid Time Off: 14 days annually Paid
