Our top drivers earned $180,000 in 2017 DRY VAN DIVISION Pay is 72% plus 100% fuel surcharge-$2.00 per mile average including FSC Dispatched from Valparaiso, IN Runs only east of the Mississippi River/Also, Midwest freight lanes available Home time-out 14 days average Freight delivers in the Southeast REEFER DIVISION Pay is 71% plus 100% fuel surcharge-$2.00 per mile average including FSC Dispatched from Perkins, OK Runs 46 states-no FL or CA freight Home time-out 14 days average Freight delivers to grocery warehouses/frozen foods POWER ONLY DIVISION Pay is 72% plus 100% fuel surcharge-$1.50 per mile average including FSC Dispatched from Valparaiso, IN Runs 48 states Home-time out for 3-4 weeks average Delivering staging for concerts/carnivals, new trailers, moving vans, Disney on Ice, Monster Jam CONTAINER DIVISION Pay is 74% plus 100% fuel surcharge-$1.00 per mile average including FSC Dispatched from Jacksonville, FL Regional freight lanes Home time-out for 7-10 days average-Freight picks up at Jacksonville port requiring TWIC card and Jacksonville Port Badge WEEKLY DEDUCTION BREAKDOWN: Plates-$35/week Occupational accident insurance-$38/week Bobtail insurance-$11/week Operating escrow-$50/week until balance of $2000 is reached Physical damage insurance (Optional-5.5% X value-$10.58 per $10,000 of value) Maintenance escrow (Optional-One has to be set up in order for Star Freight to help with repairs) Average miles per week-2600-2800 miles per week Weekly pay with direct deposit available/EFS SmartFunds card also available for payroll deposits Thursday paperwork cut off using Transflo scanning or mobile app/Settlement paid on the following Wednesday EFS fuel card with $.10 per gallon discount at Pilot/Flying J's and $.15 per gallon at Love's No trailer rental fees in dry van/reefer and no charge for reefer fuel ELD weekly charge of $16.50 Orientation is done on the computer (online safety video training)-dispatched from home/truck location on 1 st load Rider policy only available in the power only division -Rider must be a spouse/significant other and be at least 21 years of age. $1000 referral bonus for all divisions $1000 sign on bonus for all divisions DRIVER REQUIREMENTS Applicant must be 24 years of age or older Applicant must have been driving the past 2 years over the road-no breaks in employment-has to be recent verifiable experience within the last 30 months No major tickets/accidents in the last 3 years No DUI/felony/drug convictions/reckless driving/hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident/passing a school bus/racing in the last 5 years No failed/refused drug screen Cannot have 2 or more preventable accidents in the past 36 months No preventable accidents involving personal injury in the last 3 years No preventable roll over, jackknife or loss of control accidents in the last 5 years
