Job Description:

We are looking for a Construction Laborers and Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team.The right candidate must have a willingness to learn, be willing to work in different areas of the company, strong communication skills and the physical ability to lift and carry heavy and bulky building materials or structures.Perform tasks involving physical labor at shop and construction sites.We offer full-time and part-time employment, as well as pay dates on 5th and 20th with direct deposit.Responsibilities: (include and not limited to)* Use of various hand tools and power tools to install support structures for buildings or other structures.* Various tasks such as carpentry, painting, and cleaning up debris. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials.* Establish locations for poles and foundations.* Participate in digging trenches and foundations.* Use hand tools to lay cable and telecommunication lines.* Loading and unloading building materials.* Build fences around homes, buildings, and other structures.* Help build houses and other structures.,.* Following instructions from construction project managers and supervisors.* *Wear Common Protective or Safety Equipment such as Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Hard Hats. ** *Outdoors, Exposed to Weather &* *Spend Time Standing** Clean equipment or facilities.* Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces, such as concrete, marble, terrazzo, or wood flooring, using abrasive tools or machines. Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces.* Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection. Spray materials, such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco, through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.* Apply caulking compounds by hand or caulking guns to protect against entry of water or air.* Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.* Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.* Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures.* C*onstruct or repair the framework of commercial, residential, and industrial buildings*. They determine the dimensions of the framework to be constructed, measure, and cut the required building materials accordingly, and assemble the materials to form the framework.* Basic math.* Knowledge of building codes.* Various duties as business needs.Perform tasks involving physical labor at shop and construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers.*Digging trenches and backfill holes to prepare for the construction site*. Operating equipment and heavy machinery used in construction sites. Following instructions from construction project managers and supervisors. Loading and unloading building materials.*Wear Common Protective or Safety Equipment such as Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Hard Hats, or Life Jackets**Outdoors, Exposed to Weather**Spend Time Standing*Clean equipment or facilities.Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces, such as concrete, marble, terrazzo, or wood flooring, using abrasive tools or machines.Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces.Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection.Spray materials, such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco, through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.Apply caulking compounds by hand or caulking guns to protect against entry of water or air.Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes.Position, join, align, or seal structural components, such as concrete wall sections or pipes.Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performedLoad, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures.A heavy equipment operator *drives or controls construction equipment, including bulldozers, forklifts, backhoes, dump trucks, cargo trucks, and hydraulic truck cranes*. They operate this equipment to assist in the construction of structures. Machine operators take care of all machine-specific functions such as *configuring the equipment, loading and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability*. They need to ensure that the machine works at its full capacity, oversee its maintenance, and perform timely quality checks. - Operate, drive, and control heavy equipment. - Load and unload equipment from vehicles. - Have complete knowledge of machine settings. - Check and maintain equipment functionality often. - Keep performance records of machine functionality regularly. - Heavy Equipment Experience. - Construction Experience. - Excavators. - Backhoe.Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hourSchedule:* 10 hour shift* 12 hour shiftAbility to commute/relocate:* Pocatello, ID 83201: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:* Construction: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* CDL (Required)Work Location: One location
