Plant Operator at Tessenderlo Kerley, you will support plant and
terminal operations by following company policy and procedures, and
all applicable state and federal regulations. You will exude

You will work alongside leading plant managers to support our plant
in Michaud, Idaho. You will be part of a team and become part of a

What you will do: Load and unload trucks and railcars in accordance
with Tessenderlo Kerley policy and OSHA, EPA, HM-126, BOE, and DOT
regulations.Read and record local instrumentation and obtain and
analyze product samples to ensure product quality.Contain, clean
up, package, and label Hazardous Waste according to HAZWOPER
training and OSHA, EPA, RCRA, HM-126, and DOT regulations.Operate
manual valves and equipment.
Troubleshoot and correct irregularities with process and process
equipment.Participate in the plant safety program, including
presenting and attending required safety meetings, reporting
potential hazards, and performing monthly safety
inspections.Routinely inspect vessels and equipment to prevent
equipment failure or damage.
Maintain plant property in a clean and orderly fashion.
Assist in plant projects, including maintenance, turn-around,
lock-out/tag-out, and confined space entries.
Implement emergency response plans and assist in mitigating
emergency situations.
Perform any other duties as management deems necessary.
What we need from you: A high school diploma or GED is
required.
Good mechanical and technical knowledge and skills.
Must be able to read and understand material.
Basic mathematical and analytical skills.
Basic knowledge of chemistry.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literate - must know basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for
prolonged periods of time, climb multiple flights of stairs, and
have the ability to perform various tasks using reaching, pulling
and pushing techniques.Must be medically cleared to utilize a
self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), in-line air with full
face respirator, and other respiratory equipment.
