We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Data Integrity
Specialist to join our team!
What You'll Do
The Data Integrity Specialist will be responsible for monitoring
and reporting the quality content of the Legal Health Record for
compliance with accrediting standards, and state and federal
regulations. This requires managing workflow and systems that
contribute to the record such as transcription, inbound direct
messages from outside care providers, physician completion of
records, and outbound information for transition of care. Release
of information in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Preparation and submission of Birth Certificates and Paternity
Affadavits, and assisting patients with use of the hospital Patient
Portal. The successful candidate will be able to:
* Quality Review: Perform ongoing medical record review of
documentation quality and standards in support of Medical Staff,
CMS Conditions of Participation, and the Joint Commission.
* Customer Service: Provide customer service to patients/customers
who present to the department.
* Transcription: Review transcribed documents against established
* Information Services: Support the Patient Portal onlines
services, software upgrades and implementation, training and
mentoring of new staff, etc.
* Complex ROI: Coordinate complex release of information services
for legal representatives, law enforcement, the courts, government
entities including birth certificate and paternity affadavits, and

What You'll Bring
* High school diploma or GED
* At least three (3) years experience working in a Health
Information Management setting in a hospital, clinic, or physician
* Evidence of completion of an Anatomy & Physiology course and a
Medical Terminology course, i.e., transcript, certificate, etc.
