Job Description Job Description About Our Practice Cedar Hills Family Dentistry is a busy, family-focused practice led by Dr. David Michael Sutton. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team as we cover for team members on maternity leave. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a strong team and flexible scheduling. Position Details Position: Dental Assistant Employment Type: Part-Time Status: Replacement (team members out on maternity leave) Schedule: Flexible part-time hours Office hours: Mon 9:00am–6:00pm Tue–Thu 8:00am–5:00pm Fri 8:00am–2:00pm Key Responsibilities Assist the doctor with patient care and clinical procedures Take and record clinical notes Sterilization and operatory turnover Stocking and maintaining clinical supplies Support the team wherever needed to ensure smooth daily operations Qualifications & Experience Dental assisting experience preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate High school diploma required CPR certification required (practice is willing to help new hires obtain) Experience with Eaglesoft a plus Comfortable with digital X-rays Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who is: Easygoing and adaptable—schedules change, and flexibility is important A strong team player who is willing to jump in and help Detail-oriented with a patient-first mindset Reliable, professional, and dependable Calm under pressure and able to go with the flow Practice Highlights Services include restorations, crowns, and implants Supportive, collaborative team environment Willing to train motivated candidates Fun, positive workplace culture Benefits Dental benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) with employer match Uniforms/scrubs provided Continuing Education (CE) credits We believe every patient deserves to feel at home when they come in.
