Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Behavioral Health - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Behavioral Health Years of experience: 1 Certifications: RN Idaho License, BLS, CPI, MAB* Patient Ratios: 1:7 Essential Job Functions: • Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process for patients in the following age groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics. • Documents thoroughly as care is delivered, following regulatory and hospital requirements. • Participates in the responsible management of health care resources. • Assumes responsibility for clinical competencies and professional development of self and others. • Practices in a clinical environment through application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills • Ability to work varied shifts and/or days including weekends and holidays Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Must be able to utilize good judgment, demonstrate patience, utilize best practices for patient care as expected by department leaders and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. • Must be able to work in a busy, stressful and work environment where practice changes to meet new patient safety requirements, goals or objectives. • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Electronic medical records software. • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage workload expectations. • Interpersonal verbal communication and advanced math skills. • Creativity, problem analysis, team work and decision making.
