We are seeking a LocumsPediatric Surgery Physician to provide 24-hour call coverage in Idaho Falls,Idaho. This opportunity offers a manageable patient volume and the chance towork within a supportive hospital environment using an established EMR system. Position Details Coverage Type: 24-hour call Practice Setting: Hospital-based pediatric surgery coverage Daily Patient Volume: Approximately 5 patients per day EMR: Meditech Responsibilities Provide on-call pediatric surgical coverage, including evaluation, management, and operative care as needed Respond to emergent and urgent pediatric surgical consults Perform inpatient rounding and necessary procedures Collaborate with emergency department staff, anesthesia, nursing, and hospital teams to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain timely and accurate documentation in Meditech Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Surgery Active Idaho medical license Active DEA registration Ability to provide independent on-call coverage Idaho Falls, Idaho is afriendly eastern Idaho city known for its scenic riverfront, affordable cost ofliving, and easy access to outdoor recreation, including Yellowstone and GrandTeton National Parks.
