Job Summary and Qualifications Under the direction of the charge nurse and/or circulating nurse the surgical technologist is responsible for: the preparation/clean-up of the sterile field, setting up the surgical instruments, understanding the use and assembly of both sterile and nonsterile instruments. Develops and maintains sound knowledge and skills of sterile technique. What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Required: Certified Surgical Technician (CST), or Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN), or Work Experience in lieu of Degree, or Certificate, or Associate Degree
  • Preferred: 1+ Years of experience in a healthcare setting Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds.
