Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our Nouveau team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients, helping them relax, relieve pain, and improve their overall well-being. This is a commission based, paid position in a busy medspa in Southeast Idaho. We have been in business 14 years and have a very strong customer base. This is a spa environment, but we do also see a lot of sports and medical massage clients on a a regular basis. Our massage team consists of about 10 other therapists who are actively working together, educating one another and pushing the team to be the best around.

Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments to determine the appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans
- Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and occupational health to provide effective massage therapy
- Administer various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage. Prenatal massage experience is a plus.
- Utilize acute pain management techniques to alleviate discomfort and promote healing
- Conduct physical examinations to identify areas of tension or injury
- Provide exceptional patient service by maintaining a professional and caring demeanor
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist and relevant certification
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage. Prenatal and hot stone and cupping may be taught on the job.
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and acute pain relief
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen attentively to client needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients

-Team player willing to work with co workers, we do a lot of couples massages.

Pay: $28.76 - $31.48 per hour
