Job Description:

My well-respected client is currently looking for a--passionate Dental Assistant--to join their practice. At least one year of experience preferred, but adequate schooling can suffice.Incentives:--Benefits, 401k, bonus, vacation, uniform allowance, lunch & learns, educational training, team trips, etc.Duties & Responsibilities:

• Gather patient information and health background
• Prepare each work area for procedures
• Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
• Take x-rays when necessary
• Prepare materials for crowns or dental impressions
• Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits
• Restock treatment areas and monitor inventorySkills and Qualifications:
  • Dental assistant certificate from an accredited vocational school (preferred)
  • X-ray certification a plus
  • Current BLS and CPR certification
  • Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
  • Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
