Job Description:
The Regional Manager will reside in a designated area in Idaho,
work out of the local office, and serve between 6-8 County Farm
Bureaus. The Regional Manager's basic function will be to surface
new leaders, provide needed and appropriate training, counsel, and
assist county leaders to create a stronger County Farm Bureau.
The primary goal of the Regional Manager is to develop strong and
active County Farm Bureaus. To achieve this goal, regional managers
must be a valuable resource of information and create connections
that benefit the County Farm Bureau.
Responsibilities:
--- Surface, counsel, and provide training to potential Farm Bureau
leaders, as well as providing training and guidance to existing
Farm Bureau leaders as they plan programs, activities, and training
as a County Farm Bureau or within their district.
--- Encourage and promote attendance at county, multi-county, and
state meetings.
--- Attend and be a resource at all county board meetings, and
other county meetings when needed.
--- Communicate regularly with county leaders and state directors
and staff.
--- Serve as a liaison between the State and County Farm Bureaus as
well as encouraging communication with outside organizations, local
government, school boards, and all other community
relationships.
--- Assist County Farm Bureaus in growth through the surfacing,
recruiting, and retaining of members.
--- Provide training to county secretaries, county leaders, and
members on Farm Bureau history, philosophy, activities, and
available membership services.
--- Understand and be well versed in Farm Bureau policy.
--- Serve as a coordinator and support staff for designated State
Committees.
--- Perform other duties as directed by the Executive Vice
President and the Vice President of Member Relations
Commodities.
Qualifications:
Skills & Abilities
--- Education: -Bachelor's degree or equivalent related
experience.
--- Experience: - Agricultural background is preferred.
--- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Schedule
--- This position is Monday through Friday including nights. It
will periodically include weekends.
--- Employee must work at least 40 hr/wk but may include more.
--- Employee will regularly communicate with supervisor on upcoming
flex situations.
Vehicle
--- Employee will be provided a vehicle to use when traveling for
regional manager essential functions.
--- When the fleet vehicle is not available, IFBF will reimburse
the employee for mileage at the standard IRS rate. The employee
will coordinate personal vehicle situations with their
supervisor.
IFBF Credit Card
--- Employee will be given a bank card for fuel and meals
associated with regional manager essential functions.
